2-17. OPERATION IN UNUSUAL WEATHER
The GUYS and the markers/streamers should be periodically checked when you are operating during
bad weather.
2-18. OPERATION IN UNUSUAL TERRAIN
Loose, soft, sandy, clay type, rocky SOiIS may not be able to safely hold your
ANTENNA STAKES.
Before leaving your base:
make sure you have a supply of the special anchors you may need to use in the soil you could find in
your area of operations,
